I don’t know about you guys, but I love this time of year when Valentines Day decor hits the shelves! 1. Felt Heart Garland

Add a charming felt heart garland above a focal point in your living room or bedroom (such as above the sofa, mantle, or bed). You can create your own by cutting out heart shapes from colorful felt sheets and then gluing them them onto a piece of twine or ribbon to create a durable, reusable decoration. Hang it on your mantel, headboard, or walls for a cozy, handmade touch.

2. Mason Jar Centerpieces

Make a creative but inexpensive centerpiece for your coffee table or dining table! Mason jars are super affordable and you can paint it or just use as is. Add some fresh pink flowers or roses to add a nice scent & aesthetic to your space. Or, if you want something more elaborate check out the suggestions below for affordable ready made mason jar centerpieces!

3. Pink Tablescape

Create a beautiful pink tablescape to serve as a beautiful focal point for your dinner guests. Use plain white or gold dishware and then add a pop of color with red or pink napkins, flowers, and other table decor. Tie them with ribbon, twine, or dried flowers and include a handwritten note or a heart-shaped tag for a sweet, inexpensive touch. Plus, adding a sheer table runner completes this beautiful tablescape!

4. Rattan Balls in a Jar

I love these little rattan ball fillers that you find at home decor shops! They add a beautiful pop of color and dimension to any space, and look perfect on the coffee table, entryway, or even an end table. They are very budget-friendly, come in a variety of colors, and you can add these to any jar or decorative bowl you already own! You can also pair with other fillers like decorative hearts or fairy lights to give it even more depth.

5. Candlelit Centerpieces

Gather candles you already have at home and arrange them on a tray or short pile of books as pictured above. You can also check out the list below for some cute Valentine’s inspired candles. Sprinkle a few paper or fabric rose petals (easily found at dollar stores) around them for an elegant, cost-effective centerpiece. You can also arrange them around some flowers or fairy lights to warm up the space.

6. Floral Wreath

A beautiful wreath on your front door will look beautiful and makes the perfect segue into spring decor! You can make your own wreath using a wire frame and faux flowers from a discount store. You can also purchase inexpensive pink lights to add a rosy glow. The soft glow from the lights will instantly add a warm, romantic ambiance to your home.

8. Heart-Shaped Drinkware

One of my favorite ways to feel festive during the season is to change up my kitchenware & drinkware. You can add heart-shaped strawberries to make your drink look extra festive! Plus add heart-shaped ice cubes to your drinks to make them look even more Instagram-worthy. I also found these super cute heart-shaped straws recently that I love to use when drinking smoothies or even my morning water!

Heart-shaped balloon bouquets add a festive touch to any Valentine’s or Galentine’s Day party! Pick up a few red, pink, and white balloons from the dollar store and then cluster them together and secure them with ribbon to create cheerful balloon bouquets for any corner of your home. You can purchase inexpensive heart-shaped throw pillows for your bed or sofa to jazz it up for Valentine’s Day! For a DIY hack – Instead of buying new pillows, wrap your existing throw pillows in Valentine-themed fabric or scarves. Tie them with ribbon to create a festive look.
